William Pettit

William C. (Bill) passed peacefully surrounded by his wife and children on June 7, 2013. Bill was born and raised in Dayton, Ky. He proudly served as a First Lieutenant in the US Army. Survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 58 years, Joan (nee Hedger); his five children Gerry, Bill, Cindy, Denise and Keith; and the joy of his life, his eleven grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Nick, Billy, Paige and Chelsea, Alex, Zach and Miranda, Addison, Peyton and Preston; and his brother, Dick Pettit, and sister, Annette Rose. Age 82. Visitation will be Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Thomas-Justin Memorial 7500 Montgomery Rd. in Kenwood from 5-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 10am at St. Saviour Church Plainfield and Myrtle Ave. in Rossmoyne (across from Deer Park High School).
